I guess Im fortunate that my neuropathy isn’t painful, but I would like to know other than drugs like tramadol are there any drugs specifically that relieve neuropathic pain?

Hi Andy, there are several drugs that can be used to treat neuropathic pain, these include amitriptyline, duloxetine, gabapentin and pregabalin. You may want to read the NICE guidelines available here: NICE guidelines.

You may also find the information on how nerve damage can affect your feet if you have diabetes useful.

    I hope that helps.

    Judith
